BladeSports offers annual cutting schools and clinics. The purpose of the cutting schools is to:

1. Certify new cutters.
2. Certify officials and instructors.
3. Provide training on safety regulations and injury prevention.
4. Provide training on setting up cutting course benches and cuts, building benches, and officiating at competitions.

The schools will be held on a weekend. Saturday all day and Sunday morning are reserved for training and education. These are 2-days hands-on schools and every opportunity will be provided to hone participants' skills at the cutting bench and on course cut specifics. Everyone who has been certified at the school will have an opportunity to participate in the points competition that will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00.

Practice knives will be available.
